Welcome!

This is Module 1 of your Medicaid and CHIP Business Information Solution (MACBIS) onboarding experience! Think of this module as a “care package” to help orient you to the world of MACBIS. These resources will help you grasp the context needed to effectively navigate the ecosystem.

Your first weeks at MACBIS and the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS) might feel overwhelming, with a lot to learn and absorb. The phrase “MACBIS quicksand” has been used in the past for a reason. No fear! These resources are here to help you get the lay of the land.
