About CMCS

The Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS) is organized into eight groups that are responsible for the various components of policy development and operations for Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Basic Health Program (BHP). CMCS is under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
