Table of Contents
The MACBIS HCD Unification (HCDU) team created these templates to help HCD practitioners get started with their research work, but you are not required to use them. Always remember to save a copy of these templates for your personal use, instead of editing the original.
For more information about why these templates are recommended, and how they fit into the way our community conducts research, be sure to check out our Research Community Norms.

We recommend including background on how this project arose, its aims, plus anticipated deliverables and timelines for results. Be sure you have also done due diligence to look at previous research so that you are not replicating anything.

a conversation script for collecting informed consent that can be inserted into moderation or facilitation guides for research studies.
Although not mandatory, it’s a nice idea to send a thank you note 24-48 hours after each interview to the participant. Here is an example template you can adapt to do so.
Resources to help you effectively share out the results of your research with stakeholders.
